There's no smoothness in the movement while editing, which frustrates me, call that a personal preference. The floatspeed is something i'd like to change yet found no setting for. There's no confirmation for activation of functions such as outlines and allfaces either, which is making my life in editing a pain.Ĭopy/Paste fills the empty space with full cubes which i find rather annoying. I cannot use many editing commands i often use. Yes, there are indeed many disappointing aspects in all of this. I bet this is going to be a bit annoying for such experienced map creators as people around here are, but we're always opened for suggestions, and if anyone has a cool idea, i'm pretty sure we could do it in an "official" way. There's another difference that you can most likely guess at this point: custom scripts aren't permitted, based on the same idea that it would very tricky to maintain a leaderboard if scripts were something any user could create. Not only geometry loading is possible, but locally i've created some custom texture definition files based on the official sauer cfg files that make MA2 load Sauerbraten maps properly textured. You won't find a textures definition file yet because the official maps use the official textures, so there's no need, but i can assure you that custom textures are possible and rather easily. You can take a look at the official maps to see what these files mean. The folder can then contain anything related to this map, like a snapshot, a friendly name text file, a brief description text file, and a custom textures definition file. You could place the ogz directly in the packages/base/custom folder and load it, but the prefered way is to create a folder for it in packages/base/custom, place the ogz there and rename it to map.ogz. Sauerbraten maps can be loaded in Marble Arena. If there are other things appart from scripting and console functionality that are vastly improved over the official release, then i think i could, and probably should, take a look at the latest svn. Merging with the latest svn would be a huge pain, because i've heavily modified the original source. Marble Arena 2 is based on the official Justice release. We would really like to maintain a leaderboard, and keeping it cheat free and open source at the same time would be rather tricky.Ĭonsole can be activated, and we sometimes use it, but it's not "public" info for the same reason this isn't open source. There's a good reason, or at least we think it's a good reason, why this isn't open source. No SVN repository as this isn't open source, just freeware. It includes 32 new levels, autosave and ability to customize controls, and what was requested the most around here: working console and custom scripts. It's based heavily on physics, there's no shooting or killing, although we have a nice lightning bolt shield powerup that could slightly impress the killer in you :)Ĭheck it out, you might like it, and who knows, maybe even be convinced to create some levels for it :P Nothing near what i've seen here, but hopefully we'll get there someday. It has 50 official levels, and we've released another 22 maps ported from Marble Arena 1, and we also have a nice little community of people creating their own levels. It's a very bright and colorful game, available for PC, Mac and Linux, and it keeps pretty much all of the editing power Cube 2 has, but has a layer of GUI on top so that people don't have to use the console at all, hopefully making it more newbie friendly. I wasn't really sure if i could post any info here being that it's not one of the official games supported by this community, but hopefully it will be ok and my post won't be deleted :) My name is Mihai Gabriel Ailioai, and i'm the developer of Marble Arena 2, a marble game based on the marvelous Cube 2 engine. The overall reaction rate constant of decolouration, combining the effects of senescence and chilling injury, was found to depend on temperature. The variance accounted for by the developed model, including effects of temperature, harvest maturity and orchard location, was more than 95% on 3211 observations. The rate of the colour development was estimated in common (fixed effects) for all batches using non-linear mixed effects regression analysis. The biological shift factor is related to the initial condition and range of colour change. Monitoring of individual apples made it possible to include and to describe the biological variance of colour in batches of apples and to correct the colour of each apple individually for its own biological shift factor (biological age random effect). A model was developed based on a simplified mechanism to describe the development of the apple colour during storage as affected by senescence (aging) and chilling injury. N2 - The colour of `Granny Smith¿ apples, harvested from three orchards at two stages of maturity, was measured individually using the CIE L*a*b* system during storage in regular atmosphere at three temperatures: 1, 4 and 10 ☌. And, in typical Metal Gear fashion, there are several VR Missions perfect for testing your mettle if you're looking for a new challenge. Levels are rife with hidden collectibles, and the vast number of unlockable perks-including new combos, weapons, and passive upgrades-are great incentives for replaying levels in an attempt to obtain an 'S' completion rank. There's a ton to keep you coming back for more after you've finished the game, too. ".everything on screen will make you feel like the biggest badass on the planet." But no matter the method of your input, everything on screen will make you feel like the biggest badass on the planet because you're making it happen. You'll be in control of Raiden for most of such encounters, with a dose of QTEs thrown in during the more cinematic sections of a long winded fight. Within the first hour you'll fight a Metal Gear Ray mano a mano, slashing away at its armor until it launches about two dozen missiles at you-at which point you'll hop along said missiles like a series of stepping stones before slicing the mechanized beast cleanly in half. Even when you're not facing off against the primary cast of villains, you'll have to take on hulking robotic monstrosities. That's not to say that fighting them isn't awesome, though, as boss encounters will test every ounce of your skill (and happen to the backdrop of some really incredible music). Emerging victorious after grueling battles with woefully underdeveloped antagonists just isn't all that meaningful or rewarding. This feels like a huge missed opportunity for character development and establishment, especially when compared to the stellar villain track record of previous Metal Gear games. Rarely is there any buildup for these encounters you'll meet most bosses for the first time moments before cutting them down. ".too often do feel like a barebones playbox."Ī bigger disappointment, however, is that many of Revengeance's cast of villains is almost just as bland. Most of them at least give you plenty of space to move around in, but too often do they feel like a barebones playbox. You'll frequently feel like you're running through generic locations devoid of all but a handful of things to kill and some environmental decorations that can be cut into bits just for the hell of it. Though battles are fantastic, the same can't be said for the environments in which they take place. Even when you think you've nailed it perfectly, you might find Raiden on the receiving end of a devastating attack. Unfortunately, the parrying control scheme leaves room for a lot of error. You'll have to rely on parries if you hope to endure, as there's no easier alternative for deflecting incoming damage. But surviving the hack 'n slash phase can be extremely taxing. It's not an overpowered mechanic, either, because all but the most basic of enemies require you to beat 'em up for a while before they can be insta-killed. ".Blade Mode is such a novel concept that it never becomes dull." At times they make Revengeance seem like a Metal Gear parody, but the laced laughs are right at home within the scope of its over-the-top personality. You'll really get a sense of the playful, collaborative relationship between Platinum Games and KojiPro thanks to these delightful wisecracks. You'll crack a smile once Raiden finds a cardboard box to hide under, but upon doing so a brief codec conversation with one of his accomplices points out just how ridiculous it is for a badass cyborg ninja to stow away in a crate of medical supplies. They're often the punchline of jokes that highlight how silly some Metal Gear tropes really are. These nods aren't just tossed in purely for fan service, either. An exclamation point sprouts from the heads of alerted enemies lengthy codec conversations and cinematic sequences punctuate the action bosses yammer on and on about political ideologies before dueling you to the death and you can even hide in boxes to stay hidden from foes. Platinum Games' action-heavy take on Kojima Productions' Metal Gear series is a mostly faithful addition to the franchise, and it's littered with the things that Kojima faithful have come to love. “While the platform requires your mobile number to sign up, you can set this up using a Google voice number, while Apple users can stop their history from syncing with the cloud by turning off ‘show calls in recents’ in settings”, added Demetriades. There are also options for users who don’t want to connect their Signal account with their personal phone number or iCloud history. “Essentially, it encodes your message so that only the intended recipient’s device can unlock it”. “Signal is safe to use, mainly because it provides end-to-end encryption, which means messages are secured before they’re sent, and they are decrypted only once they arrive at the intended recipient’s device”, explained McAfee VP Antony Demetriades. Unlike Telegram, which also benefits from end-to-end encryption in its “secret chats”, Signal has the feature enabled by default so you won’t have to take any additional steps to get this extra layer of privacy. Signal is safer than many messaging apps because it uses end-to-end encryption, which ensures that no one (not even Signal) can intercept and read your messages. Finally, don’t forget to check out our ultimate security guide to learn the best ways to safeguard your data when surfing the web. Signal is considered an independent non-profit, meaning its development is supported entirely by grants and donations and it isn’t funded by any major tech company or advertisers. Signal even designed face coverings that would “encrypt your face” in the real world to maintain its users’ privacy outside the app. In 2020, the company released a face blurring tool to protect the identities’ of protestors in the marches against racism and police brutality. Of course, encryption isn’t the only privacy tool in Signal’s arsenal. Signal’s encryption, in particular, is powered by the app’s own open source Signal Protocol and adds an additional layer of security to almost every communication you hold over the app, from one-on-one messages and group chats to voice calls, video calls and even stickers. Signal’s privacy-first approach has earned the praise of whistleblowers, privacy advocates, journalists and high-profile tech moguls over the years and made it an easy go-to when organising protests and passing on sensitive information.Īrguably the most important privacy tool on Signal is end-to-end encryption. Signal is often considered one of the most privacy-focussed messaging services in Apple and Google’s app stores, but how safe is it really? We reached out to 5 security experts to learn more about Signal and your data. This is critical to slowing the barrels down before they reach the bottom. If you look at the bottom, you'll see I intentionally left a piece of the ramp not solid near the bottom. I found this was critical to ensure the car landed properly to be able to crash through the wall ahead of it, otherwise it'd crash and lose all speed. The second is that little piece of wood extending out under the metal piece. The first is that upright piece of metal, which is so the car can go through to the bottom, and then the allies run into the metal to push it down and create a bridge. Two important parts to this level, both on the right side. These barrels can't break, so I just launched them into the zone and hit to finish as soon as they were all there. For a video guide that may offer different solutions for each level, refer to Austerity Ace (140G).īudget is insanely tight here, which is why I made those weird little bridges. I have provided commands in text below each screenshot, where applicable. Hopefully you enjoyed your time with this relatively short entry in the Bridge Constructor series, and didn't pull your hair out too much trying to manage some of these very strict and crazy levels.Īll of the solutions I used for each level in this chapter can be found below in screenshots, along with a short bit of info for each one. Thankfully, a guide can be used to subvert difficulty, or just for hints if you get stuck. If you haven't played any previous games in the series, you're in for a really difficult time. You'll really be put to the test without a guide to manage all levels under budget. While a short and simple list at first glance, the levels in this game are anything but short and simple. Refer to Grim Reaper (100G) for doing so. If you play without a guide, you'll assuredly reach this amount before finishing the game, but if you use a guide you may need to grind it out. The only thing left after you've completed all levels under budget is to grind out kills, if you haven't reached 400 yet. I have provided screenshots of my own solutions in the guide, and then a video guide in the Austerity Ace (140G) solution, so you have potentially two options to choose from if one doesn't seem to be working for you. With a little tweaking though, every level should be manageable. The only difficult part will be replicating the solutions close enough that your structure doesn't fall apart but still stays under budget. Thankfully, reliable solutions for all of the levels can be found in the guide below. That being said, the resource limit is incredibly tight in most levels, which sadly leaves little room for experimentation where achievements are concerned, because you almost assuredly won't come in under budget unless you are either very smart/innovative, or follow a guide. There are no convoys that you need to build an incredibly sturdy structure for like in previous games, it's just a matter of getting to the end of the level. If you've played previous games in the series, this one goes back to the roots of the original one - the only goal in terms of achievements is to complete the level under budget for resources, and that's it. The achievements require that you complete all levels under "budget," and then kill a cumulative total of 400 zombies. That being said, like many puzzle games a guide makes the majority of the difficulty trivial. Those who have played the other games in the series will have an easier time with the difficulty curve, but if this is your first game, you will likely struggle immensely even to get through the second chapter. In general, this game definitely expects you to have played other games in the series, as after the tutorial is over there is a significant difficulty ramp up. As expected, this entry sees a merging of the concepts of Bridge Constructor (building bridges and ramps to support weight) while integrating aspects of The Walking Dead (zombies to kill, shoot, explode, crush, etc.). Welcome to Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead, the fourth entry in the Bridge Constructor series. Unobtainable/glitched achievements: None Does difficulty affect achievements: No difficulty option Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 1 Approximate amount of time to 1000 : 3-5 hours Estimated achievement difficulty: 3/10 The User Dashboard Tab is an interactive reporting view for ToDo items (Submissions and Diaries), expiring policies, active policies, active clients, and recent correspondence. Ink Bendy is the severely deformed incarnation meant to bring cartoons to life by the Ink Machine. The cartoon ends up with Bendy getting chased by the gang out of their anger. Tasty Trio Troubles (1935) - Bendy visits the restaurant owned by the Butcher Gang, where he will later fight over a hamburger with Charley. Bendy often refuses to pay for anything he buys, as he tries to take his burger without paying Charley in "Tasty Trio Troubles" and didn't pay Gaskette for his ride according to the latter's bio image. He likes to get people's attention and he'll stop at nothing to make sure he has it."īendy is a borderline troublemaker, but rather impatient and easily startled or timid, yet justifiably cheerful, fun-loving, and mischievous as his devilish nature would imply. "As seen in our animated cartoons, Bendy is mischievous and full of fun. "A playful little fellow, Bendy can get up to some naughty antics when left to his own devices." The right side of his face and bowtie seem to be slightly covered in ink. In Bendy and the Dark Revival, revealed through several merchandise prior to the game's release, there will be a "perfect" version of Bendy that wears a brown sleeveless jacket with pockets and two white buttons, and a pair of black pants with thin white lines along with a white patch on the left ankle. In terms of his height, Bendy appears to be short, being easily towered over by Boris. His alleged "invisible eyebrows" from above his large pie cut eyes can even move when expressing his emotions. Because he lacks a neck, his head floats a few millimeters away from his body.īendy has a most notable wide, toothy grin, showing eight teeth when he's grinning fully. The shape of his head resembles cartoonish horns that always remain facing the viewer no matter which way Bendy is facing. He wears shiny black shoes, a white bowtie, and a pair of gloves that closely resemble those of other cartoon characters like Mickey Mouse, each possessing two black buttons.
